Medium Term Development Plan (2010-2016)

Thorpe Park have released their latest MTDP which is effective from 2010 running until 2016.

Below is a list of the main points detailed:

The park plans to install 2 Rollercoasters, one in 2012 on Island C, one in 2015 on either Island A or E

The 2 Major rides are expected to exceed the normal height limit of 30m

4 - 5 "Flat Rides" are planned to be installed, the MDTP identifies 9 possible locations for these

No new land creation is proposed during this time

The park plans an increase in visitor numbers from 2 million (in 2009) to 2.2 million in 2016

It is expected the increased visitor numbers will be spread over the quieter times of season, not adding to peak day numbers
