Calgary Stampede was a ride similar to most standard 'Twister' rides that you can find at your local fairground, with a difference - each arm was raised and lowered during the ride! This created a different experience to rides and, when it first opened, was one of the most intense rides at the park.

The ride was located within the Canada Creek area of the park. Unlike the rest of the area, however, it was not themed very well; in fact, it was covered very much in your standard fairground lights. Though it would have been very much out of place in today's park, it was a much-needed ride to the line up at the time.

The ride was removed to make way for Samurai.
