This 4D Cinema features Simworx Hardware, meaning that each 4D show can have a variety of special effects, including smoke, mist, bubbles, water, leg ticklers, air blasts, flashing lights and, of course, motion chairs!

Currently the Sunset Cinema only shows one film: Ready Player One – 4D Experience. Viewings are hourly, starting at midday.

Ready Player One – 4D Experience is a 14 minute excerpt from the 2018 Steven Spielberg-directed film, with 3D and 4D effects added to create the experience, in conjunction with the filmmakers. You do not need to have watched the film (or read the book it’s based off) to understand the film. The 14 minute showing shows a futuristic world where people escape their daily lives with Virtual Reality, including a supposedly unbeatable race. We’re taken on a journey through the race, with all the bumps in the road!
