First Fright Nights 2024 Info Released

With epic new heights come petrifying new lows

Today, Thorpe Park released their first teaser trailer for this year’s Fright Nights, as well as released tickets for the event and this year’s mazes.

In a change of pace from the last couple of years, the park have confirmed in one going some returning attractions. In particular, all three of last year’s mazes – Trailers, Survival Games and Stitches – are set to return. There will also be a new maze for 2024, although no details have been confirmed about that yet. It is speculated that the maze will be hosted in the old Black Mirror space, which has held several Fright Nights mazes (Freakshow 3D, Hellgate, The Passing, Cabin in the Woods and The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare).

There is also, naturally, a big focus on Hyperia, with the park also confirming that there will something called “Hyperia: Pitch Black”. It is not clear what exactly this is yet, however it is fair to say Hyperia’s theme doesn’t exactly suit a scare attraction. Perhaps this will just be a push on riding Hyperia in the dark (possibly with no lights on in the ride area), or maybe there will be something more.

There is no word on anything else about the event, such as shows and scare zones, or if there will be a focus on a new ‘disciple of fear’ as there has been the last couple of years. However, with 4 mazes and no doubt plenty of other attractions, this will likely be one of the most varied Fright Nights yet.

Maze tickets can be purchased in a variety of different ways. You can either book one maze, choosing an hour slot, or one of two package deals (a Terrifying Trio including Trailers, Survival Games and Stitches, or a Fearsome Four for all four mazes). Prices depend on what time slot you book: prices are slightly cheaper if you go for a timeslot between 3-6pm, and slighlty more expensive if you book 6-9pm. All mazes are indoors and so the experience is exactly the same regardless of the time you go in!
