Fright Nights Construction Update – 22/09/24
A look at how Fright Nights is progressing with just under 2 weeks to go.
The line up has been fully revealed, and behind the scenes actors are busy rehearsing for their attractions. But what can we see on park in terms of preparations for Fright Nights 2024?
Creature Campus: Looks can Kill!
One of the biggest changes to existing attractions this year is Creature Campus. Gone is the set of stairs, which resembled a set of bleachers, as well as the yellow school bus, which had been a mainstay of the Amity dance show through the years. Instead, a building facade has been built up from scratch, resembling a Sorority House, fitting in with this year’s story.
The Crows of Mawkin Meadow
Returning as a scare zone for a 4th year, The Crows are back, but again with changes. Much of the pathway has seen wooden fencing erected and hay laid. It seems like this will be one of the densest layouts yet, and an indoor section looks to be happening too! Lighting and speakers are also already dotted around the zone.
Stitches
Construction for Stitches has gone well, and work on the exterior is now happening, with the wrap around being put up.
Everything Else
There’s little else to see with the remaining mazes. New-for-2024 maze DeadBeat remais a mystery: we believe some signage and theming has been put up outside, but this can only be seen from very certain angles. Lucifer’s Lair theming will be put up once Oktoberfest finishes (which, at time of writing, is today!). And the likes of Trailers, Survival Games and IT 4D have nothing to see…yet.
Fright Nights begins on 4th October, running on selected dates until 3rd November!
