Merlin have today announced a series of changes to the popular Merlin Annual Passes, which will come into effect for all Merlin Annual Passes bought after 28th November 2017.
The most significant change comes to the Standard Annual Pass which will no longer include entry on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout August including September 1st and 2nd to Merlin’s five busiest attractions (Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Alton Towers, Legoland Windsor and Warwick Castle). This is in addition to the existing restrictions applied to the standard pass. This will not affect standard passes bought before 28th November 2017. Pricing for the Standard Annual Pass is set to remain the same.
The Premium Annual pass will see its price increased by £10 for both new passes and renewals, along with some small changes to help clarify the usage restrictions for Share the Fun Vouchers, full Terms and Conditions will be available from 28th November.
Its important to note none of these changes will affect current Annual Passes until you renew.
Separately, Merlin have also confirmed in their FAQ that, as is traditional now, there will be a January Sale on both Standard and Premium Merlin Annual Passes, though no indication yet on how much of a saving will be available.
The Merlin Annual Pass continues to offer great value for Money, with Standard individual passes costing £179 and Premium Individual Passes costing £219 (£229 after November 28th)
