Posted By Marc

As we get ever closer to THORPE PARK Resorts reopening for the 2017 season, today we saw a glimpse at some of the changes being made across the resort in preparation for the start of the season as the resort released their official 2017 gate map. We also take an exclusive look at the front side of the map hinting at “Brand New Announcements” for Fright Nights 2017!

Announced earlier this year, Derren Brown’s Ghost Train – Rise of the Demon is the main feature on the 2017 map, featuring the rides newly revised logo.

Along with that the map also confirms the addition of Timber Tug Boat to Old Town – a Zamperla Rockin Tug relocated from Sealife Weymouth which will further extend the range of attractions for younger guests.

Re-introduced over the past couple of years themed areas are once again on the map with some notable changes, Amity Beach is now simply known as “Amity” whilst all the other area logos have been given a fresh new look.

Over in Port and Basecamp (the dome) the Coffee Shack will now serve Costa Coffee whilst Sweets and Souvenirs is being replaced with “The Island Shop”

Over in Amity next to Storm Surge we see the addition of The Donut Factory – which will stock not only THORPE PARK Resorts classic donuts, a selection of new donut sundaes made in front of your eyes.

Old Town will also see the addition of The Hub, a new space dedicated to events.
